How to build a public building in a historical city centre in the 21th century? Probably this was the first question emerged before the design phase of the Partium Christian University from Oradea.
We consider that the result speaks for itself, the harmony between the exterior and the interior was realised based on a very well thought design, transposed in execution with great precision.

The new building among the classrooms, amphitheatres, seminars, teachers’ and administrative offices, library hosts also waiting areas, collective study rooms, meeting points, terraces on each floor.
The building has a reinforced concrete frame structure, filled with YTONG bricks on the exterior. The external joinery is manufactured of laminated wood profiles with double glazing, curtain walls with aluminium profiles.
As unique design elements of the building, handmade majolica elements were used enclosing the main entrance and also as frame around the rhythmically disposed windows on the façade.
